Norco Aurum Downhill Mountain Bike – 18” Frame / 10 speeds / 26″ wheel

18″ Medium Suspension aluminum Frame
10 speed (10×1) Shimano ZEE Rear mech and Deore Shifter
26” Nukeproof Rear and Bontrager Elite Front wheel set. Front on a Bontrager 110mm Hub and the rear on a ZEE 150mm hub. The rear hub spacing is 157mm so two hub spacers have been fitted. Front runs true, rear a little off.

Shimano ZEE Hydraulic disk brakes, nice and strong! NEW pads front & rear
Manitou Dorado Expert 200 mm Forks, fully working with Compression (base of fork) and Rebound (top of fork) adjustment. (Inverted style!)
Fox VAN RC Rear shock fully working with rebound and compression adjust
Rear Schwalbe Magic Mary Tyre + NEW Front Continental Trail King tyre. Rear has some tread but is is used order
SDG Fly Saddle (few scuffs), Superstar stem, NEW grips, NEW Brand-X Bars

Wheelset runs well, has tight and smooth bearings
Good used condition. Some use related scratches and scuffs along with some touch-ups in certain areas.  Downtube decal was rubbed so has been touched up and then RockShox decals applied to neaten-up. Overall good used condition for a downhill bike with no structural damage whatsoever! If you require further close-ups please ask.
Fully working ZEE Brake set perform very well and give great stopping power
Headset and bottom bracket are smooth. H.S operates with no movement B.B has some slight side to side play. Functions fine but can be easily replaced if desiered.

What To Expect From a Used Bike

Buying a used bike is a great way to get an affordable ride with quality components!

A bike retailing at 5K new can have a retail tag of 2K five years on. With this saving though, there are a few things to consider.

I do my utmost to be honest with the bikes I sell and present them to you in a valeted condition, ready for their new owner. I try to sell bikes that have been checked over thoroughly, are working well and are ready to ride.

This though does not mean the bike has been mechanically reconditioned. This would cost in excess of £300.

Please bear in mind that manufactures advise mountain bikes to have suspension serviced every 200 hours of riding and dropper posts every 400 hours. The brakes along with frame/bottom bracket/headset bearings are suggested to be replaced every 12 months. This does depend on the level of use though. If a bike has a few years on the clock please be mindful and realistic of the wear and tear the bike has. Without stripping a bike down to the frame I can only give my opinion on how components feel and how the bike operates. There may every now and then be the odd thing I miss.
